We care about our patients' well-being.

  • General Orthopedics

General orthopedics includes a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries, impairments and disabilities.  Starting with an individual assessment identifying the patient’s functional weaknesses, the BaySport Physical Therapist will create a specific program focusing on alleviating pain, prevention of further injury and promotion of overall fitness and health.  Working alongside the patient, a physical therapist will adjust the program as growth occurs to reach the patient’s goals.

  • Complimentary Injury Assessment

This program includes an individual assessment of your injury by a physical therapist. Although no treatment will be provided, you will come away with clear guidelines to help you accomplish the fastest possible recovery and return to activity. These guidelines may include specific exercise recommendations, a physical therapy plan or, if necessary, a referral to a physician.

  • Pilates-based Rehabilitation

Pilates is a safe and effective form of exercise for the rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports related injuries. A licensed physical therapist and a Certified Pilates-based instructor will evaluate you, and supervise all of your exercise programs and progression.

  • TMJ Dysfunction

A BaySport Physical Therapist will help restore the natural movement of your jaw and decrease your pain. If the therapist determines that your jaw pain is not related to teeth alignment, the therapist will select treatments that will work best for you.

  • Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is an individualized exercise-based physical therapy that results in stabilization in the patients gait and gaze. A BaySport physical therapist will evaluate the patient’s symptoms and medical history to identify any vestibular issues that can cause issues with balance, visual stability and the gait of the patient.

  • Lymphedema Care

Lymphedema care includes massage, bandaging, exercises, and skin care managed by a trained therapist. At the beginning of the program, the therapist gives many treatments over a short time to decrease most of the swelling in the limb with lymphedema. Then the patient continues the program at home to keep the swelling down.

  • Aqua Therapy

Aquatic therapy refers to water-based treatments or exercises of therapeutic intent, in particular for relaxation, fitness, and physical rehabilitation. Treatments and exercises are performed while floating, partially submerged, or fully submerged in water.

  • Pediatric Sports Injuries

A BaySport Physical Therapist will work directly with the child or teen to diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal problems caused by injury in athletic activities.  The physical therapist will work alongside the child or teen to compose a physical therapy plan to return the patient to full activity after acute trauma or an overuse injury.

  • Massage Therapy

BaySport Massage Therapists are certified in Massage Therapy (CMT) and have completed a minimum of 900 hours in the field. Specific techniques may vary from session to session depending on what is most appropriate and effective for the client. These may include myofascial and trigger point therapies, cross fiber & longitudinal release, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.

I can't recommend BaySport highly enough - they really have changed my life. Thank you!
