Elsie Y. Lim, P.T. is a 1977 graduate of California State University of Long Beach. Her experience and extensive continuing education has provided her with a strong background in the treatment of various musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the spine and upper and lower extremities. She has much success in treating a gamut of injuries including occupational, sports, and the garden variety of sprains and strains of all joints. Educating and empowering the individual about their injury are the rewarding aspects of her job. In addition, the use of manual therapy skills in soft tissue and joint mobilization greatly enhances the patient's return to function at home, work and recreational activities. |

Carol Triest received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Stanford University. She has extensive experience in sports related injuries, orthopedics and industrial medicine. In her 14 years at BaySport, Carol has enjoyed helping clients achieve improved functional strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness while overcoming physical problems. |

Alyssa graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in America Studies, emphasis on minority education. She graduated from the UC San Francisco/San Francisco State joint program with a Masters of Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has done research on the treatment of hyperkyphosis in the aging population and exercise prescription in the youth population. Alyssa loves being a physical therapist because it combines her passion for teaching with her interest in human movement. Most of all, she enjoys helping people stay active and healthy. Alyssa currently teaches gymnastics to kids with motor delays. She is happy to work with pediatric patients and with the Spanish-speaking population. Her favorite modes of exercise are dance and snowboarding. Alyssa is also a mother of two active girls. |

Pam Handley graduated with a BS in Physical Therapy from Temple University College of Allied Health in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1979. Her early career experience was in a neurological acute care setting, with a focus on stroke rehabilitation. She has worked in the specialty of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since 1987 using manual techniques to restore normal joint alignment and range of motion of the spine and extremities, exercise therapy to correct muscle imbalance and movement impairment, and patient education, focusing on the client's return to active work and play. Pam is mother to two girls, loves animals, and enjoys weekend biking with her husband, snow and water skiing trips to the Sierras, hiking, and hanging out by the sea. |

| Linda Sweeney, P.T. | |

Linda received her degree in physical therapy from Fresno State University. She has extensive experience in the treatment of orthopedic injuries, industrial injuries, and sports related injuries, including musculoskeletal dysfunction of the spine and extremities. She has had a great deal of experience and training in exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy for soft tissue and joint treatment. Linda improves patient functioning with the use of modalities to help put the patient back to his or her previous level of activity. She has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, including hospital, outpatient clinic, and sports-related facilities. |

Tegan is experienced in orthopedic physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, and lymphedema care. She encourages her patients to incorporate their rehabilitation and fitness goals into their daily activities. Tegan uses a multitude of treatment techniques including but not limited to manual therapy, Pilates-based exercise, therapeutic exercise, manual lymphatic drainage, multilayered bandaging, taping techniques, custom orthotic evaluation, habituation exercises, gait training, sports specific injury prevention, and postural education. At home, Tegan is a wife and mother of three very active and healthy children. |

Jennifer earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Southern California in 2004, after graduating with a BS in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University in 2001. She has studied under some of the founders and current leaders in the field of manual physical therapy. Jennifer is highly trained in spinal dysfunction and ACL tear rehabilitation and prevention. In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, and is active in the Junior League of San Jose. |

Kristin received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Duke University Medical Center in 2011. In addition to extensive experience with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, she has a strong interest and additional training in Women's Health - the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence, pain, and post-partum complications; and breast and prostate cancer rehabilitation. Kristin selects from a variety of interventions (e.g., manual therapy, biofeedback, and therapeutic exercises) to create the most efficient treatment plan. With all of her patients, Kristin attempts to not only address symptoms, but also to understand the cause of the dysfunction, the environmental factors and activities that brought the patient in to see her. She believes strongly in interdisciplinarity and communicates with her patients' doctors and other providers to develop a comprehensive plan of care. Kristin spends her free time with her husband and dog. |

Donna graduated from UC Berkeley (1985, Exercise Physiology), and UC San Francisco (1987, School of Physical Therapy) and was a former professional figure skater on tour with Ice Follies. She specializes in acute and chronic spine conditions, pediatric sports injuries, as well as the dancing, skating and gymnastics athlete. Donna has a Pilates - based rehabilitation and stabilization practice - and is the United States Figure Skating Association World and Olympic Team (1998 Nagano, Japan) Physical Therapist. She also uses aquatic training extensively for spine and athletic patients. |

Therese Voelker earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1993 from Mount Saint Mary's College in Southern California. Prior to joining the BaySport team in 1999, she gained valuable experience working in a wide variety of settings including outpatient private practice, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. In addition to her background in physical therapy, Therese is a Polestar Certified Rehabilitation Specialist in Pilates-based Exercise. She utilizes her rehab. knowledge in the creation of unique and challenging Pilates programs which focus on the correction of muscle imbalances, core stabilization and improved functional mobility and strength throughout the body. She feels that injury prevention is best achieved through education and therefore incorporates the principles of proper body mechanics, core stabilization and optimal spinal alignment into her programs to achieve this goal. |

Christine Zafiropoulo received her B.S. degree in Physical Education at Fresno State University in 1992 and her A.S. degree in Physical Therapy from De Anza College. Christine is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and has completed her Polestar training as a rehabilitation Pilates instructor through Polestar Education. She has been working for BaySport since 1992 and has given a variety of lectures to Bay Area companies on injury prevention, ergonomics, and treatment programs. Currently, Christine's time at BaySport is shared between two corporate facilities and instructing Pilates rehabilitation classes at Courtside. Christine incorporates her personal training and Pilates experience into her physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation programs. Activities she enjoys in her spare time include snowboarding, swimming, water polo, running marathons, Pilates, and strength training. |

Kirsten received both her masters degree (in 2001) and doctorate degree (in 2006) in physical therapy from Emory University, after graduating from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While at William and Mary, Kirsten was a scholarship gymnast and NCAA regional competitor. Her physical therapy background includes sports medicine and orthopedic care, incorporating manual techniques and an exercised based approach. She enjoys helping athletes of all ages return to sport and preventing future injuries, and continues to train both state and nationally competitive gymnasts. She spends her free time with her wonderful family: husband Jeremy, daughter Alani, son Cruz, and dog Duke, as well as running on San Diego's beautiful coastline. |

Dave received his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1995. He possesses strong experience in orthopedic and neurological dysfunctions of the spine, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle. Having an introduction to physical therapy as a patient in high school (torn knee ligaments), Dave relates well with the many cycles of rehabilitation, including surgery. His goal with each client is to create an atmosphere of compassion, trust, education and motivation. In his spare time, Dave's interests include his family, church, fitness, and USC football. |

Gillian graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa in 1981.
Gillian has worked extensively in the outpatient setting for most of her career. She worked as a Clinical Specialist in the Outpatient Dept. at Mercy Hospital
when she arrived in the United States. Prior to that, she owned her own clinic in South Africa. She specializes in Manipulative Therapy with a focus on cervical
pain with restriction of movement. She is also passionate about meeting the needs of chronic pain patients, particularly in children. Gillian leads a very active
lifestyle and is passionate about returning patients to their full functionality with a minimum impact on their daily lives. South African born, Gillian immigrated
to the United States in 1993 with her husband and three children, and has lived in San Diego since then.
Her motto: "Treat others as one would want to be treated." She takes this seriously. |
